Robin Lynn Williams

Robin spent her childhood in Northern New Jersey and her teens in Houston, Texas and holds a bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from UCLA. She is the author of the novel The Assistants which was published in hardcover by Regan Books (a Harper Collins imprint). Foreign rights were sold to France, Poland, and Thailand. In addition, NBC optioned the rights for a television series.

Her promotional experience includes guest appearances on more than 35 radio shows, local talk shows, and television (Showbiz Tonight, Hollywood Assistants, Young, Sexy & Hollywood on the WE Network). She’s been profiled in the semiannual First Fiction feature in Publisher’s Weekly, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The Hollywood Reporter, US, The Star, LA Weekly, and reviewed in People magazine, the Washington Post, The NY Daily News, and the Library Journal.

As a writer, she possesses an aptitude for humor, fiction, entertainment, topics pertaining to film, television and celebrities, personal essays and human-interest stories. Her work has appeared in Biography and the New York Times Syndicate. She has worked as a personal assistant to Roseanne, Tom Arnold and Cybill Shepherd. She has also worked on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Robin enjoys whoopie pies and talking to strangers. She lives in Manhattan.
